Day Date & TRex Shirt

I decided to surprise Spence yesterday and also make some use of this wonderful weather!
(good thing I did, since it was pouring rain today!)
I waited for him to get out of class,
with peanut butter sandwiches and a salad in tow,
then whooshed him off to an unknown location.
Luckily for me, this location is semi-out-in-the-middle-of-nowhere.
So he had no idea that we were heading to the Humane Society.
or surely, he would have dive rolled out of the moving car.
Not because he dislikes animals.
But because I love them too much!
We went from kennel to kennel picking out our fave pups and named our top three.
just to look, I promised him.
& we went outside to play fetch with the cute doggies.
We even stopped in to visit the cats.
Who, by the way, are extra loving.
& huge!
I mean we are talking 20 pound cats here.
At least we know they are getting fed!
Good News- I have completely brainwashed/trained/convinced/begged Spencer into getting a doggy soon into our marriage.
Bad News- That doggy did not come home with us yesterday.
But there is hope in the near future!
This is Peter Pan the Pointer!
If anyone in the Cache Valley area is looking for a fine looking pet, check out the Cache Humane Society. Their website has all of the animals up for adoption. Or visit their Facebook page here. They even have rabbits and other small animals!
What kind of pet are you looking to add to your family?

Peter was fun. But I don't think he'll ever grow up. Now moshie was a dog I could see runnin' down the hallway of a home. 😉
