Lip Scrub: Luscious Lemon

It is almost V-Day again.
Are you already getting your lover something great?
I fail at surprises. I bought Spence this awesome shirt.
Thing is, I got toooo dang excited, and already gave it to him.
Ugh, back to the drawing board.

Anyway, you know that you're dying (just dying!) to have some smooth lips for that big Valentine's date.
Whether or not it is your signifigant lover, or just a hook up with your dashing date...
Not even kidding right now, my lips feel as soft as silk.
(almost said a baby's bottom, but that sounded a bit uncomfortable.)
Not only does it do your lips some good to get all the dead skin cells off of it,
but it smells delicious too.
& I am all about pampering myself.

Recipe adapted from Her Campus

What you'll need: (makes about 12 uses)

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vaseline
  • 2-3 drops of lemongrass essential oil
  • 1 small container to keep it in
  1. Combine the honey and sugar in a small bowl.
  2. Add the olive oil and vaseline; mix well.
  3. Put 2-3 drops of lemongrass oil in and mix.
  4. Spoon your completed scrub into a container.
  5. Use the scrub about twice a week. Take a small amount, rub onto lips for a minute. Wash off with warm water.
  6. Don't forget to moisturize after!!!
Seriously, it is that easy. You'll be leavin' him wanting more.
Any ideas on what I should get Spence for V-day?
How did you like the scrub?
