Craving that salty taste but not wanting all the fried-crap that comes with it?
Then the no-fry fries are for you!
I recently have been on a fry-kick.
I am constantly wanting criss-cut fries from a fave fast-food place of mine.
But I can’t always give in to those cravings!
Instead, I made these at home! You only need 3 ingredients.
&& they were super delish.
Serves 2-4 people.
Ingredients:
2 large potatoes
2 TBS olive oil
3/4 tsp course sea salt (if you’ve seen any of my other recipes, you’ll see how much I adore course sea salt)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 450. Wash potatoes and peel. Cut potato in half holding horizontally. Continue to cut potato into smaller slices, about 1/3 of an inch wide; place slices in bowl of cold water. Let potatoes soak for 3 minutes, then take out and completely dry. (I put mine on paper towels and patted dry.) Put back into dry bowl and mix in olive oil. Mix in salt. Place on cookie sheet one layer thick; cook for 30 minutes, turning over halfway through.
