vintage wool

Skirt: c/o Heidala’s | Bow: c/o Tres Beaux Bows | Shirt: (old) Kohl’s | Vest: LA Hearts via Pacsun |Bracelets: c/o Antebellum Baubles | Sunnies: BP by Nordstrom (love these!) | Purse: (old) Urban Blues | Heels: (old) Head Over Heels
I have been waiting forever to wear this vintage skirt from Heidala’s. The thing about vintage shopping is that you can’t go by size. You have to go by feel. So something may say size 10, but it is actually a six. That is just because over the years our sizes have changed drastically. Anyway, this skirt is supposed to fit like a 6… but since my foot surgery I have gained a bit of weight (sad face!) so I was waiting until I could finally button the high waist around my rib cage! YAY! Be sure to check out Heidala’s for tons of recycled and repurposed clothing that is funky and unique. Of course you already should know my love for bows, and I have been getting my big big bows from Tres Beaux Bows on Etsy. Seriously, the perfect size, the perfect stiffness (I hate getting too floppy of bows!). You can even choose your sizing and clips here! Viola! I found these snake skin heels years ago when I was graduating high school (four years ago now! I’ll be attending my reunion net year, whoa.) I wanted to have some super sweeeet heels since I had to wear that freaking graduation bag. I have loved them ever since and was excited I could finally wear them yesterday without my surgery foot hurting!

What do you think?
