BEAUTY HACK: A Facial Routine to Live With

Whenever fall time comes around, my skin sees drastic changes-- and they are usually of the negative variety. Dry, flaky, ruddy complexion. Not to mention that when I get back into the school routine, the stress is amped up and in comes my acne.  I decided to try and prevent as much damage this year as I could, so I wouldn't have to back track. This is my daily skin routine I have been using for the past month and a half getting ready for the dry weather.
I always wash my face with water in the morning and pat dry with a towel. Before putting any make-up on my face, I use bareMinerals bareVitamins I.D. skin rev-er upper. It is usually used as a primer, but I have found it gives my skin just the right amount of moisture to set my face, but not to get it oily for a day of makeup. I then add a dime-sized amount (or less) of the Smashbox Photo Finish primer in green. This fills in any fine lines or noticeable pore, also correcting redness, for flawless makeup application.
At night, I wash my makeup off using my Clarisonic and the Clarisonic cleanser. After patting my face dry, I first apply Visage de Layla Face Nourisher. The cream provides my skin with the moisture it needs, and spreads very evenly and smoothly. I apply about a dime sized amount to my face and neck. I then take my tea tree oil and get 1-2 drops and put that on my face, especially around my acne. This has been helping to calm the redness and fight the spots. Lastly (careful not to get the tea tree oil in my eyes) I put the Visage de Layla Amino-Lift Peptide Complex under my eyes, on my eyelids, in-between my eyebrows (where my scowl lines are), around where crows feet might appear, and at the corners of my mouth. This formula is to prevent lines from forming and is anti-aging.

    1. I love the smell of tea tree as well! Have you tried lavender? I thought I would hate it, but it smells like a more subtle version of tea tree.
