motto x cheetah

I actually had a lady confront me this past week on my way into a store. I parked in a handicap spot with my handicap tag. She came up to me and said, “Do you have a handicap pass?” She even sent her husband over to circle my car and look for the pass. I was astounded. Regardless if I have a limp, a phobia, or a chronic illness, it was none of her business. Of course I had to be a bit snotty and say, “Yes, I had foot surgery, thanks for asking.” The rudeness of people never ceases to shock me. As someone with chronic pain that may not be manifested, and as a representative of those with disabilities as a special educator, I ask you to think before you judge what you can’t see.
As for the outfit, for some reason cold weather brings out the punk in me. I have been channelling my inner goth/cynical ways and portraying them on my outfits. It must be because I am against the cold weather heading our way. Since every motorcyclist that is any motorcyclist wears black, these Motto pants from Articles of Society were named rightly. They even have seams on the front of the pants to complete the rocker look. (Better news, they stretch, so you don’t actually have to feel like a rocker in stiff jeans.) I have had this chunky cardigan since last year– one of the amazing finds from TJMaxx. It may actually be worn multiple times a week, really just whenever I feel freezing, this puppy is put on. The long sleeve shirt is one from Laila Jayde, and it fits any cozy occasion as well. I have already worn it twice since I have bought it because it is perfect on those chilly days. Now, what can I say about these boots without sounding over-zealous? Two of my favorite things together– cheetah and boots- means utter adoration. Plus, I have been wanting some booties with the cut-outs for a while now. I have shopped at Forever Young since I moved to Utah, because they have their stores in some of the malls around here. I even got my wedding shoes from Forever Young! Needless to say, this outfit will be worn out by the end of the fall season.

You need to go back and buy them… I think they are sold out online, but you could always buy the sister shoes (same style, different colors). They are my favorite booties. No kidding.

Thank you! That is what someone else mentioned to me, that at least she is looking out for the bad guys to tell them off. Still I am annoyed! I would be upset, too, if I was in your position with a little babe!

    Thank you 🙂
