Are you dying to have one of those beautiful floral crowns that keep popping up this winter? I was too! I wasn’t wanting to pay the price though. Instead, I let my creativity save me some money (I was able to get all this for under $7.00)!  This DIY tutorial will be sure to have you looking like the winter princess you are.

Pine Floral Crown
What you need: Wire cutters, wire, synthetic pine branch, floral tape
Step One: Cut the wire one-and-a-half times your head size (wrap around your head as tight or loose as you want to wear the crown, wrap around a half more).
Step Two: Make a circle the size of your head, then wrap the half length of wire around the circle, closing off the circle and reinforcing the wire
Step Three: Pull the “leaves” or small branches of pine needles off the larger branch. It might help to have a synthetic branch that is made to be pulled apart.
Step Four: Hold the branch close to the wire, then wrap the floral tape around the branch part and wire securing them together.
Step Five: Continue pointing the pines the same way, holding the pine about half way down of the last secured pine. Begin wrapping with floral tape at the base (branch). Continue this process until the crown has been completely filled!
Step Six: Add any pinecones or berries that you may want!

OOH I think this one is my favorite so far! I love floral or "branchy" crowns! They are such an easy way to add a little sweetness and sass! My daughter wore a floral (fake though) one for her birthday and I loooveee the pictures!! Thanks for the tutorial!

I think some lovely baby's breath would look so pretty entwined into this crown, don't you?
