Beauty Travel Essentials 2015

Recently I read one of my favorite blogger's Song of Style Travel Must Have blog post, and thought it was a great idea! Spencer and I will be traveling a lot more now that it is Summer and we both have school off! We just got back from our trip to the Montage Deer Valley (seen here, but more to come!) and I kept my Mischa Carryall close by at all times with these items I use ON THE DAILY.

The Mischa Design is known by the signature pattern of hexagons that are on each bag they make. They are beautifully made, practical, and noteworthy in their quality. The bag doesn't look much larger than the average duffle bag, but it fit so many things! I packed all these items, including all my clothing for the weekend. My shoes had to be packed in my green duffle because, gross, shoes and clothes together? No.
I of course take cleanser and facial creme with me EVERYWHERE. My Enza Essentials (last seen here) are great travel companions because there is a cap on the cleanser and the moisturizer is less than 2 oz, which means it can go on a carryon for any plane! I use both of these morning and night; I have to go to be with a fresh face that has been moisturized. In the morning, I do the same routine, but this time I add in my Clinique All About Eyes Serum right under my eyes. This helps wake me up (it goes on cold) and helps relieve sleep puffiness. One more thing, not pictured here because it is not in my daily routine, is sunscreen! It is so important to lather up and protect your skin! I like this Sun Bum stick because it rolls on smoothly (it's hard like a deodorant stick) but it is also invisible!
In order to feel comfortable traveling, I have to feel like I smell nice! I always bring one of my favorite perfumes (this Dolce & Gabbana Number 3 has a floral, light, and flirty scent) and make sure to pack clinical strength deodorant. I started using Secret clinical strength deodorant about 3 years ago and will never, ever, ever look back. I used to think a prescription was needed for this type of deodorant, but its bought over the counter. It's a couple more dollars than reg deodorant, but SO worth it.
Lastly, I have to, have to, have to bring my own shampoo and conditioner when traveling! With the amount of hair I have, the gifts provided by hotels are never enough! Plus, sometimes the shampoo and conditioner at hotels can be subpar. I brought Pura D'or shampoo and conditioner along for our trip because they are such a convienent size to carry in a bag, the pumps close (so no spillage!), and I know they offer quality. After I use the lavander smelling organic pair, my hair always feels clean, looks shiny, and is soft to the touch! I think it must be the argan oil used in both the shampoo and conditioner. The product boasts to help stop hair loss, which I can't attest to, but it would be wonderful if it helps keep the hair on my head! Check them out on Insta!

  5. I love the bag!!! That would be a nice, stylish getaway bag for an overnighter somewhere!!! I would bring most of the supplies you did, except for the perfume from D&G. I don't like perfumes.
