How to Look Ready Without Makeup

Exuviance Intensive Eye Treatment Pad Review
In the summer, makeup should only be worn to work and special events. I love being able to wear a clean face (thanks to a nice tan and some of these products)! Most of the time you will find me with my hair up and my makeup off. The effortless look actually takes quite a bit of maintenance! Instead of feigning great skin, I give my skin a rest from the cover-up and instead shape it up with some of these products.

Be sure to watch the video below for some more info on the products!
Strong Lash Growth Serum Review
  1. Exuviance Intensive Eye Treatment Pads- These are so wonderful! You know when you see women with cucumbers over their eyes getting a facial? These eye pads have a similar effect-- except they also are infusing important vitamins back into the skin! I like to use these twice a week (morning or night), for about 10-30 minutes. The pads contain vitamins A, C, and E to provide antioxidants and help renew and restore the tender skin underneath eyes. This aids in firming the skin and getting rid of dark circles and puffiness, leading to a rested look!
  2. Strong Lash- This is an over the counter way to strengthen, thicken, and lengthen eyelashes (and if you watch my video, you can find out where else I use this magic stick!). It provides oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicles (base of the lashes) thus allowing them to grow! The serum also conditions (less breakage!) while stimulating the cells in the hair bulb for a faster and lengthier growth! Trust me... if you want to go makeup (and extension) free, invest in this! I apply it every other night to the base of my lashes and then sleep in it! The serum dries quickly and could even be applied before work. The key to looking alert are big eyes... eyes look bigger when lashes are longer! Be sure to check back later for a post showing my before and after lashes!
  3. Botanyst Restful Sleep- These are vitamins, originating from an ancient herbal recipe, that help to calm a restless mind (any other anxious folks out there?!), relax the body for rest, and aid in prolonging the sleep cycle. No, it is not really sleeping pill. It's more of a vitamin that gives your body what it needs to remain calm and wake up rested. Unlike other sleeping pills I have taken, it doesn't unnaturally knock you out, and it leaves me refreshed (instead of groggy) in the morning. Make sure to get 20% off by using the code below!
  4. Zakia's Moroccan Black Soap- Radiant skin all over! With my multiple posts about 'How to Take a Detox Bath', it should be pretty obvious that I love a good detox! This time it's about detoxifying from the outside in. This soap can be used daily, weekly, or monthly to help renew aging, itchy, or dry skin. For me, living in Utah, I have dry skin and use this soap 2-3 times a week in the shower! Simply rub it on any area you wish to renew, let it sit for a minute, then scrub off with the Kessa hand towel! The soap is all natural, so it is acceptable to use anywhere as many times as needed. Just be careful scrubbing with the Kessa! Combined with the black soap, it will leave your skin baby soft after the initial scrub... if you scrub too hard or too many times consecutively it could harm your skin! Be soft!

  1. Hehe! Cute video! I admit I don't wear makeup for everyday routine stuff....so these are great tips. I do have some of the serum for eyelashes....another brand, though. ;) Thanks for posting!

  2. Nice! I wear less makeup in the summer, too. In fact on Monday I posted a no-filter no-makeup selfie for my birthday. Unfortunately, I am pale and don't tan but I do try to give my skin a break. I need to try the Restful sleep - I never get enough sleep.
