When I was in New York, the first couple of days I couldn’t believe how hot it was! Suddenly, the third day, the heat wave was over and temperatures dropped. No longer sweating on the subway! It started to feel like fall, and it made sense that Fall Equinox was right around the corner (September 22nd, people).
I am very partial to summer because 1. I am a cold person. Like, I wear sweatshirts in the summer and always carry a cardigan for inside and 2. I like to get my tan on. However, fall has a special feeling for me too! It comes in second. I love the crisp air, the excitement for upcoming holidays (HALLOWEEN?!), and the fact that I can layer a little bit. Fall also means plaid. Plaid shirt dresses that is! Maud Haus have the cutest one that I am wearing here; you need it for yourself!
I shot with Stacie (callmestacie) from Good Waves Productions for these photos and I couldn’t love her more! She is down to earth, well traveled, knowledgeable about the film and photography industry, and she has big dreams (I love a fellow hustler). I love how comfortable she makes me feel when shooting looks and how she loves motion! It’s nice that I can be moving around, and she captures candid shots!
