How I Keep My Hair Moisturized

satin lined cap, SLAP, grace eleyae

Ever since I started bleaching my ends, and my whole head of hair, my hair is drier than ever! Due to my naturally curly, coarse, thick strands, my hair tends to lack moisture. Have you ever heard of porosity? Porosity is how well your hair is able to absorb and retain moisture in the strands. If your hair has low-porosity (it floats in water, gets frizzy, has dry ends, feels like straw, or breaks easily), then you need to take extra care to keep your mane silky soft!

If you are like me and have tried everything to keep your locks looking glossy, you are probably pretty frustrated. Non-alcoholic shampoos, sulfate-free products, air drying, and even adding oils to your hair are all options that will help lead to a more luxurious head of hair. They aren't enough though! There is one thing your routine is missing- a SLAP! This stands for a Satin Lined Cap made by Grace Eleyae and will be the best thing to ever happen to your hair!

Every night I put my hair up all the way into my SLAP (for the sake of cute photos, I didn't do that in these pictures) before bed. This allows my hairstyle to be kept neat and in tact for up to three days! My hair no longer snags on my bedding fabric causing breakage and frizz. I have loved waking up with a ready-to-go hairstyle that looks moisturized and healthy!

The Satin-lined Caps by Grace Eleyae are stylish caps that keep hair moisturized, protected and knot-free while sleeping, and stay in place day or night, thanks to each cap’s elastic band.
The cap comes in clean colors and is comfortable on all types of hair and head sizes. The inner lining of the Grace Eleyae cap is satin that won't grab at your hair while you are sleeping. I love that the elastic band at the edge of the hat keep my hair in place but is still cozy on my head.
