This outfit of the day post has been sitting in my drafts for quite some time. I have been feeling a sense of writer’s block (even though these articles are not the most in-depth). It feels like I have so much to say, yet nothing at all. Kind of like when you see an old friend from college and they ask what’s new, and all you can come up with is, “nothing much; same old, same old” … while you’ve simultaneously landed your dream career, started a family, bought a house, and have literally too much going on.  Interestingly enough, one of the reasons I started my blog was because of my loathing of small talk. Spencer and I had just begun dating (and everyone wants to know your business when you get into a new relationship), so I decided to chronicle our happenings on this blog in order to avoid the slew of surface level questions we would get anytime we saw friends and family. It now sounds awful saying that out loud, but I truly just enjoy a good deep conversation. Let’s skip all the shallow water wading stuff!
