cape vs. high-low

Some articles of clothing are just meant to be worn differently than they were intended. I once bought a tuelle skirt that really looked great when I put it on. Later, when I got said skirt home, I saw on the tag that it was actually a tube top. I still wear that article of clothing as a skirt– to this day! When I first saw this high-low shirt I thought…

What a great vest/cape! Sure the true intention of the shirt is to be a button-up sleeveless top, but I’ll be honest in saying it definitely looks better unbuttoned and paired with a dress. Just like this Pink Blush jersey shirt dress with sequin elbows. Adorable, right? The perfect way to add a touch of girl to any outfit.

P.S. Want to know a little trick to tell if Doc Marten’s are real? The stitching will always be yellow!

What do you think?

I love that you wore this as an outer piece vs. just a blouse! It looks great, and those sequin elbow patches are adorable! Carylee | more pieces of me

Thank you! To be honest, I don't think it would be very flattering on me as just a blouse!
