The other day I went to the park with a few of my blogger babes to trade outfit photos. This has become a monthly event that I look forward to! I'll spend the days leading up to the event planning outfits and mixing and matching (gotta add that third piece). This time around we met at Liberty Park, just out of Sugarhouse.
Liberty Park is probably one of the coolest (and sometimes scariest after dark) parks in SLC. There is a variety of things to do including: swimming, a water park, feeding ducks by the pond, play on the jungle gyms, Tracy Aviary, and even a garden! On this particular day, there was quite the party. As dusk drenched us with golden sunlight, we heard drums in the distance. A puff of smoke. Laughing. In my maxi fringe floral kimono and high waisted jeans from Tobi, my inner seventies child followed the music. We got closer, and it was then that I realized there were about two hundred people hanging out, playing catch, slack lining, juggling fire, playing drums, and other sorts of magical things that involve a bitter smelling smoke. As I danced to the beat of the drum, I asked my friend Brianna from City Fashion Girl to take pictures.
I'll be sure to be back next week for this festival.

Thank you!
DeleteYou look great! Personally, I am more than happy for the waists to come up some. I'm tired of doing the wiggle every time I sit down or stand up.
