In Red, White, and Blue

blue sheinside shirt review
Every holiday I think, "I need to do _______ holiday themed post on my blog!" And every holiday gets bogged down and by the time I can get pics taken, time has passed. Finally, this Independence Day I thought ahead! YAY!
I bring to you my "4th of July Inspired Outfit". Ta-dah!
This adorable shirt from SheInside has the look of a China plate printed on it. It came with two tassles hanging off, but I accidentally sat on one, pulling it off. I am not a great seamstress, so I pulled the other one off as well. Viola, it still looks cute! It was actually intended to serve as a dress, but short dresses never work on me because I have long legs, and a big booty. It became a shirt instead! If you are a skinny mini or shorter, it can definitely serve the purpose of a dress!

I know sometimes people are nervous to buy from wholesale China based stores, but you can definitely trust SheInside! The amount of variety they carry is incredible, and the prices are amazing. The postal service does take about a week longer, but it is coming from overseas! The quality is on par with Forever21 or Cotton On-- this is perfectly fine with me, as I tend to get bored of clothing quickly anyway!

Two things: I am sad to say that these are the white ripped jeans from my post with GirlCave Boutique... and the button was so cheap, it fell off! However, I linked some from TopShop that I recently tried on at Nordstrom. Also, ShopBop (how funny that they rhyme!) has some amazing brands that carry white distressed denim.
Second thing-- Both times I have worked with AMIClubwear, there is something missing from my package that is on "backorder". The invoice says it will arrive in a couple of weeks. In both situations, I never received that item. The first time it was a dress, the second time it was a denim skirt. These unfortunate events took place 6 months apart from each other. Although AMIClubwear has cute items that are cheap, they can not always be trusted to get to you in the mail.

I just want you guys to trust me when I review items on my blog. Know that I have your best interest, and want everyone to be getting good quality at great deals!

  2. You so don't have a big booty girl! Love the shirt, but I'd never be able to wear that as a dress either! Looks great with the skinny white jeans!

    1. You can't see it hidden under this shirt! I am glad that I am not the only one that thinks it is too short for a dress!

  3. That top is adorable (with or without tassels!). I love the pop of red for shoes -- patriotic look that is still very stylish!
