I did it, I took the dive!
I got the trendy jeans.
Bell bottoms? They should be stuck in the '70s? Nah, girl! They're back!
My first pair of bell bottoms was actually in seventh grade. I guess back in 2004 they must have been cool too, because after the initial pair, I bought a ton more. Either that, or I was extremely uncool.
Now that I think of it, I was probably extremely uncool. Ahead of the times, but uncool. I used to collect pretty ribbons and create chokers out of them, which is cool now, but back then, not so much.
Anyway, I was a little slow on the uptake about bell bottoms now. I was nervous about looking ridiculous and fat.
Turns out, they are very, very slimming! I found this Free People pair of wide leg jeans at my local Uptown Cheapskate new with tags! They have the perfect amount of stretch so that movement is a breeze, but the perfect amount of pull in to keep me feeling skinny. You need these in your closet!
This BARRI Handbag was a part of a Kickstarter that recently made their budget! The company makes quality, luxury, vegan handbags and donates 10% of their profit to Operation Underground Railroad. O.U.R. has a mission of rescuing victims of sex-trafficking. A cause worth supporting! BARRI isn't currently selling bags, but look out on their Facebook page for when you can get your hands on one!
Also, just yesterday I had my eyebrows microbladed by SLC Brow Bar and I am so excited! To hear exactly what microblading is and to see the healing process, follow my Snapchat! Username: lauryncakes
